Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 26, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Sitalla may process personal data while providing a platform for discovering and publishing active events.

Data Sitalla may collect

Depending on how you use the platform, Sitalla may process data you provide, data related to events and registrations, and limited technical data needed to operate the service.

Account and profile data

This may include your name, account identifiers, profile details, preferences and information you add to an event or organizer profile.

Contact data

We may process email addresses, phone numbers and other contact details that you provide for account access, support, registration or event communications.

Organizer data

For organizers, we may process public profile information, event details, contact details and information needed to manage publications and registrations.

Technical data, cookies and analytics

We may use cookies and similar technologies and process device, browser, log and usage data. Any analytics or technical services will be selected and documented when they are connected.

Purposes of processing

Data may be used to provide accounts and event discovery, enable registrations, communicate about a selected event, support users, prevent abuse, improve the platform and comply with legal duties.

Retention periods

We retain data only for as long as needed for the stated purposes, legal requirements, dispute resolution and security. Specific retention periods will be documented after the operating model is finalized.

Sharing data with service providers and organizers

Data may be shared with payment, analytics, hosting and other technical providers when they are connected and needed to operate the platform. Registration data may be shared only with the organizer selected by a participant for the relevant event and is not shared with other organizers without a valid basis. Card payment data is not stored by Sitalla; it is processed by connected payment providers.

International data transfers

If data is transferred outside the country or region where it was collected, Sitalla will use appropriate safeguards required by applicable law.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to your data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion, restriction or objection to processing, and data portability where available.

Withdrawal of consent

Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before it was withdrawn and may limit some platform functions.

Data security

Sitalla uses reasonable organizational and technical measures to protect data. No online system can guarantee absolute security, so users should also protect their account credentials.

Data of minors

The platform is not intended to collect data from minors contrary to applicable law. Organizers remain responsible for age limits, parental consent and safety requirements for their events.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy when the platform, legal requirements or processing practices change. The current version and its update date are published on this page.
